Where it all begins
Built by local craftspeople, Casa Alta rises from the earth: guadua bamboo, wood and stone from the region. Here, every guest can plant a tree in our forest, near the Abuelo, and leave a living mark that will keep growing over time.

Mineral water flows naturally through our land, and we collect rainwater in a reserve tank: a precious resource we look after every day, and the reason there is always hot water.

A story of returning to our roots
It all began with David. Adopted in France, he came back to Colombia with a question that had always been with him: where do I come from? With the help of Oscar, founder of Casa Alta, he set out to find his birth family. What he found changed his life… and inspired Casa Alta.

Casa Alta was founded by a French-Colombian couple: he was born in these coffee mountains, she comes from Burgundy. From that union comes a place where Colombian nature and warmth meet the art of hospitality and French savoir-faire.
